A leading expert in innovation, digital transformation, and organisational theory, Dr. Maria Carmela Annosi guides executives and professionals in aligning business practices with sustainability goals. As Associate Professor at the School of Social Sciences of Wageningen University & Research, she combines academic excellence with hands-on executive education.
Driving Organisational Change for Sustainability
Maria’s work focuses on how digital technologies enable new practices within organisations and across industries. She investigates how companies mobilise resources, innovate, and adapt to societal and environmental challenges. Her research connects directly to practice, shaping the way firms transform in response to the Sustainable Development Goals.
As programme leader of the Executive Education Programme in Strategic Sustainability Management, Maria equips participants with the knowledge and tools to embed sustainability into strategy and operations. She also teaches in Master’s and Executive courses on sustainability management and organisation design.
Participants don’t just learn frameworks - they work on real challenges, connect with experts, and develop the tools to embed sustainability into strategy and practice.
