I decided on Wageningen because I liked the link between sustainability, agriculture, life sciences and straight up economics. The bachelor Economics and Governance trains you to be an interdisciplinary economist, with proper qualitative and quantitative research skills. Especially in the Master, you get the chance to develop an expertise in your own field of interest, due to the freedom you receive to design your own curriculum. The two-year Master allowed me to research the topics that interested me the most in depth.
