New in the collection: IEEE journals

Published on
December 11, 2023

As of 1 January 2024, WUR students and staff have access to all journals, standards and conference proceedings from IEEE Xplore. IEEE Xplore is a digital platform for scientific and technical content on electrical engineering, computer science, and related disciplines.

IEEE Explore

IEEE Xplore contains full-text documents from IEEE journals, conference proceedings, and standards. IEEE Xplore also includes content from other publishers including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), MIT Press, IBM, American Geophysical Union (AGU), Oxford University Press (OUP), and IEICE.

Access as of 1 January 2024

The journals, conference proceedings, and standards are accessible to WUR students and staff as of 1 January 2024. Please note that we do NOT have access to the books in the IEEE database.

We are currently incorporating IEEE journals into WUR Library Search. Additionally, we are working to integrate IEEE into both Ezproxy and Lean Library. In the first week of 2024, all search systems will be fully updated.

The Library acquired the new license for a three-year period in response to numerous access requests from the research community and following the cancellation of the national Read & Publish deal with IEEE.

User guides and tutorials

You can use these User Guides and User Tips to acquaint yourself with the search options in IEEE Xplore. The help section contains extensive information on all search interfaces.
