Innovation Fund is also looking for new projects in 2020

Getting started with innovation within dairy farming. Then the Dairy Campus innovation program may be of interest to your company. As a company or entrepreneur, you can apply to this fund for financial support for the implementation of innovative projects on the themes of chain valuation, sustainable livestock farming, innovative farming and smart farming.

New projects can be submitted to the innovation fund four times a year by private companies. The first round of this year closes on April 1, 2020. This program is co-funded by the North Netherlands Cooperative. These innovative research projects submitted must have interfaces with current developments in dairy farming and must be carried out at DairyCampus, the innovation company for dairy farming. The dairy farm uses a wide network for this. Vire project proposals were submitted in 2019 and currently approximately fourteen different innovation projects are running on Dairy Campus.

Space for new projects

There is still room for new innovation projects for the coming year. Innovation proposals around the circular economy, animal nutrition, smart farming, manure and minerals, grazing and livestock farming systems are interesting topics that fit within the framework of the innovation fund. In addition, innovation questions on themes such as nature-inclusive agriculture and / or dairy chains are very welcome.

Submitting project proposals

Parties wishing to use the fund can now submit an application before 1 April or prepare one for the next round on 1 July 2020.
